Volunteer Waiver, Release & Code of Conduct
Voluntary Participation. I confirm that I am volunteering with Postured In Kindness freely and without compensation. I understand that volunteer activities may include physical tasks and that I may be assigned to any role based on event need, regardless of my stated skill preferences. I agree to participate only in activities I am able to perform safely.
Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability. I understand that volunteering involves inherent risks. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation. I release Postured In Kindness, its founders, officers, board members, staff, and fellow volunteers from any claims arising out of my volunteer service, including injury or property damage, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by the organization.
Volunteer Protections. Postured In Kindness is committed to providing a safe environment free from harassment, discrimination, and abuse. Volunteers have the right to refuse any task that puts their safety at risk. Any concerns may be reported to the event coordinator or emailed to Posturedinkindness@gmail.com.
Code of Conduct. I agree to treat all community members, fellow volunteers, and PIK staff with dignity and respect. I understand I am representing Postured In Kindness and will conduct myself accordingly. PIK reserves the right to remove any volunteer whose behavior is harmful, disruptive, or inconsistent with our values.
Confidentiality. I agree to keep confidential any personal information I may learn about community members at PIK events. I will not photograph or share images of community members without their explicit consent.
Photo and Video Release. I give Postured In Kindness permission to photograph or video record me during events and to use those images for nonprofit purposes including social media, outreach materials, and grant applications. I may opt out by notifying the event coordinator before the event begins.
Your information is collected solely to keep you safe and to contact you about volunteer opportunities. It is never sold or shared with third parties.
