Our Purpose. Our Heart. Our Posture.

"All Humans Desire to Be Seen."

About Us

At Postured in Kindness, we believe that true service is far more than a checklist of tasks โ€” it is a spiritual assignment. It is a commitment to look at our unhoused neighbors, our youth, and our elders, and recognize that beneath every circumstance is a human soul desiring to be seen, known, and valued.

Founded in McKinney, Texas, our organization is rooted in a heavy, unconditional love for people. We don't just hand out aid โ€” we hand out dignity. Whether we are serving a hot meal on the street, curating a kindness kit, or teaching a young person how to manage a home, we operate with a single, guiding truth: we are here to walk in our purpose, use our God-given gifts, and love on this world exactly the way we want to be loved.

"Faith in Action, Grounded in Community."

Our faith is the compass for everything we build. It teaches us that kindness isn't an occasional gesture. It's a permanent posture. It is how we carry ourselves as we move through the world, keeping our hearts open and our hands ready to lift others up.

Our leadership brings 14 years of deep, professional expertise in cleaning, and 7 years of service with the Need To Feed nonprofit organization โ€” high-level caretaking and caring for others. We understand that a clean, organized environment and a beautifully prepared meal are expressions of profound love, safety, and respect.

After years of stepping onto the frontlines of heavy community outreach, coordinating mobile feeding events, serving unhoused individuals, and stepping into the gaps for underserved neighborhoods, it became clear that our community needed more than a safety net. They needed to feel the warmth of a family. We realized that to truly transform lives, we had to combine immediate nutritional relief with the life-giving, structural fundamentals of home.

LoDeana Jones

Founder & President

"As the compassionate Founder and President of Postured In Kindness, LoDeana Jones embodies a spirit of unwavering faith, profound family values, and a fierce commitment to advocacy."

Those who know her best would affirm that she is truly Postured In Kindness in real life โ€” a calling she believes to be divinely guided and inherently her. Driven by her conviction that everyone should experience kindness regardless of their circumstances, and that true kindness enriches both the giver and receiver, LoDeana champions a philosophy of universal compassion.

With six years of dedicated experience in nonprofit work, including extensive engagement with the unhoused community through Need To Feed, and 14 years in hospitality and entrepreneurship โ€” having owned and operated her own cleaning service โ€” she brings invaluable hands-on expertise, strong operational sense, and a deep understanding of community needs.

A self-described "sister's keeper," LoDeana's foundations were shaped early, growing up with a single parent where she learned the profound benefits of helping around the house and showing up for those she loves. These experiences instilled in her a deep-seated caretaking nature. A true survivor, she is driven by a passion to break generational curses and to advocate for the dignity and safety of all, especially the underserved. Her leadership is grounded in service and kindness, making her a visionary leader who meticulously applies her gifts to foster positive change.

Our Values

๐Ÿค

Connection

We build intentional relationships across our community, bridging the gap between resources and those who need them most. We believe in heavy community outreach that treats every individual like family.

๐ŸŒฑ

Sustainability

We look beyond short-term fixes. From rescuing food deserts to establishing physical, brick-and-mortar Kindness Hubs, we are committed to building long-term, generational stability through life-skills education and structural housing.

๐Ÿ‘€

Visibility

All humans desire to be seen. We lead with an open heart and no judgment, ensuring that our unhoused neighbors, underserved youth, and isolated seniors are fully seen, deeply valued, and treated with absolute dignity.

Our Legacy Vision: The Kindness Hubs

We are not content with just scratching the surface. Our eyes are fixed on a legacy of permanent change, fueled by vision and faith. The ultimate blueprint for Postured in Kindness is the creation of physical, brick-and-mortar Kindness Hubs embedded directly within the communities that need them most. These hubs will serve as generational sanctuaries where no individual is forgotten, and where every human soul can finally be seen.
